Our community consists of a large number of masters from different countries, teachings and practices. In our retreats we collect the most effective tools for self-knowledge and spiritual and physical development. Where will we live
Ppl Ocean Art and Retreat Centre is located in the picturesque Portuguese village of São Bernardino, and is a short walk from the beach. Within 10 minutes reaching also Peniche and Baleal, world famous for beaches, surfing and delicious seafood.

The rooms are well equipped double rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

We have secured parking at the Retreat Centre.

For those who want an even greater connection with nature, there is the option of staying in tents. For details, contact the organizer, we will recalculate your payment and help you rent a tent if necessary.

In a few words: I’m completely delighted and amazed. Now, let me elaborate.
I thought staying silent would be unbearably hard, but it turned out to be the easiest and most pleasant part. The environment around you is designed to make this experience as comfortable as possible. The program is structured to shift all your attention to your body, which brings an incredible sense of mental relaxation. The practices are very diverse, all aimed at deepening the connection with your body. I felt like I spent all five days either floating in endorphins or sleeping—it was that calming and peaceful.
I learned so much about myself, about how I perceive the world and my place in it. A silent retreat feels like a spa for both the soul and body. I definitely want to make this a regular practice and will surely return.

I didn’t have any specific expectations or requests—I just wanted to try being in silence with myself and my thoughts. It turns out staying silent for a few days isn’t that hard, but keeping your mind from wandering—from memories to future plans—is the real challenge.
Afterward, I felt a clarity in my mind, as though it had been cleansed. I felt refreshed, rested, and free. A huge thank you to the retreat team for the excellent level of organization, support, and care.

I was in a very tangled place before the retreat, and I really needed to sort things out within myself. Now, I’m leaving the retreat with important insights. I’ve spent so much time searching for myself—different teachers, gurus, trainings, and trips. But it was during this retreat that I realized all the answers are already here—they’re within us.

During one of the practices, with my eyes blindfolded, I became aware of how many sounds surround us. Now, I see our ability to see, hear, and speak in a completely different light. I used to take it all for granted.
After the retreat, I became acutely aware of how much time my phone takes from me, and I feel the need to share this realization with others.

I didn’t fully understand when I went to the retreat what exactly I wanted to find and realize for myself. For me, it was more of a trial, a search for something, and at some point, I found answers for myself. I was afraid that I might just waste my time, but that definitely didn’t happen. What happened over these days has never happened to me before, not even close. I wish the retreat lasted longer because it wasn’t enough for me.

I feel very good, in true inner silence. I don’t want to leave because I felt very comfortable; the vegetarian cuisine was excellent, and the program was thoughtful and sensory. I realized a lot, felt nature, the breeze, the sound of water, and I started writing poetry again. Silence is a support for life for me; you just have to step into it to understand what this feeling provides.

On the fourth day of the retreat, I experienced a sense of harmony with myself. The space we lived in was simply magnificent: wrapped in love, warmth, and care for each individual.
